University is nurturing student’s innovation and creating a culture of Startup and Entrepreneurship among students from affiliating colleges. In this direction, University established a dedicated cell “Kalam Center for Innovation and Incubation of Startups (K-CIIS)”. This cell is established with an objective to start the start-up culture across all affiliated/ associated colleges of University.
K-CIIS intends to create an ecosystem for promoting innovations and start-ups for students and alumni of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow by developing an end-to- end mentorship and incubation model for potential start-ups. Our Motive is to build avenues of partnership and integration with other organizations and agencies in each of these aspects. K-CIIS also presents a platform and a unique opportunity for start-ups to not only fuel their entrepreneurial journeys with funding, but also build a community of potential investors, customers, business partners and fellow entrepreneurs around them.
Establishment of K-CIIS is providing a boost for nurturing the start-up culture and also mentor budding young entrepreneurs across the state of Uttar Pradesh. University have established Institution Innovation Council (IIC) as per the norms and directions of Innovation Cell, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
