In the process of promoting the innovations and entrepreneurship culture among the students and alumni of engineering institution affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow organized a workshop on “Entrepreneurship: Time to Act” under Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama Supported by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-III (TEQIP-III) and K-CIIS (Kalam Centre for Innovation and Incubation of Startup) at Krishana Engineering College on 16 Nov 2018.
Approximately 200 students participated across the state from the affiliated engineering colleges of AKTU. The inaugural session took place by lightening of the lamp.
Welcome address was given by Prof. Sandeep Tiwari, Director KEC. After that a motivational session taken by Chief Guest Shri Pradeep Kumar Chairman IIA. Shri Pankaj Thakar CEO Padup Venture, Shri Satendra Kumar, Shri Arpit Gupta CEO TREES Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Shashank Saxena Director ATRIM Electronic Pvt. Ltd. taken a session to motivate budding startups and shared their success story with students. There was a session on how to connect with KCIIS, AKTU by Abhishake Nandan, Consultant, KCIIS, AKTU Lucknow. After which, the Keynote Speaker Dr. Satendra Kumar, Managing Director TBI KIET addressed the gathering.
In the idea pitching session more than 10 students presented their idea to the constituted jury panel. Jury panel identified best three ideas on the basis of nobility in idea, business plan, team, market potential etc.
