Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama Edition 24, REC Banda

In the process of promoting the innovations and entrepreneurship among the students and alumni of engineering institution affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow organized a workshop on “Entrepreneurship – A Ray of Hope for Small Cities” under Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama funded by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-III (TEQIP-III) at Rajkiya Engineering College, Banda on 08 Feb 2019.
A large number of young participants from the affiliated engineering colleges of AKTU participated in this event. The inaugural session took place by lightening of the lamp.
Welcome address was given by Prof. S. P. Shukla, Director REC Banda. After that a motivational session taken by Guest Shri Prem Prakash and Sunil Pankaj (incubatee at S-IIC IIT Kanpur), they shared their success story with students. After which, the Keynote Speaker Mr. Shaiwal Bhatnagar, Training Officer, Institute of Entrepreneurship Development, Uttar Pradesh discussed various schemes of Govt. by which startups get benefit. Approximately 175 students participated in this event.
