Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama Edition 27 at SR Institute of Management and Technology, Lucknow

In the process of promoting the innovations and entrepreneurship among the students and alumni of engineering institution affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow organized A Workshop on “”How to find target audience for startups” under Dr. Kalam Startup Parikrama Supported by Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme-III (TEQIP-III) and K-CIIS (Kalam Centre for Innovation and Incubation of Startup) at Kanpur Institute of Technology Kanpur on 26 August 2019.

Approximately 200 students participated across the state from the affiliated engineering colleges of AKTU. The inaugural session took place by lightening of the lamp.

Welcome address was given by Mr Kaushal Chandra, Director corporate relations SRIMT, Lucknow. He motivated students for innovation and entrepreneurship. Keynote speaker Dr. Dwijendra Singh Es Scientist CSIR – CIMAP Lucknow discussed various success stories of startups and how startups fails during initial stage. Another keynote speaker Mr. Deepak Aggarwal, MD Gobind Industries Pvt. Ltd. intracted students and shared his experience of business. He connected to the theme and explained how to identify target customers. On this occasion representative from AKTU discussed various initiatives taken by University to create a culture of startup and entrepreneurship in all affiliated colleges. Students asked questions like how to initiate business during education and how to identify our target market etc.
